PERFECT YOUR SIREN EYE LOOK WITH THESE SIMPLE STEPS
STEP 1: PREP THE EYES
First, prep the eyes using our Eyeshadow Primer Potion by applying all over the lids to ensure any shadows applied stay crease-free and budge-proof throughout the day.
STEP 2: CLASSIC WING
To start the look, we'll use a liquid eyeliner to create a classic wing that can later be transformed into smokier siren eyes. Grab our Perversion Fine Point Eye Pen to achieve an ultra-pigmented black eyeliner look, with a tip designed for sharp precision. Taking the pen, begin by lining your lids and staying close to the lash line.
STEP 3: EXTEND THE WING
Create a wing by extending the line outwards and then filling in the space between the halfway point of your lid and the wing for a slightly thicker, bolder wing.
STEP 4: SMOKE THE LINER
This classic winged eyeliner acts as the base for the siren eyes, as it's now time to smoke the liner out and achieve that sultry, cat-eye effect.
The best way to do this for a transfer-resistant and pigmented result is using our 24/7 Glide-On Waterproof Eye Pencil in Smoke, a matte, ultra-deep grey shade.
Apply the product by focusing on the outer corner of the eye only, going back and forth over the winged eyeliner just created. This step doesn't need to be super precise as we will later clean it up but focus on going over the edges of the liner.
STEP 5: SMUDGE IT OUT
Once you've applied the liner, take an eyeshadow smudger brush and smudge the edges of the eyeliner out further, working quickly before the Glide-On Eye Pencil dries down to its long-lasting finish. Be sure to also smoke out the tip of the wing.
STEP 6: SHARPEN THE EYE LOOK
Next, take some makeup remover on a cotton swab and swipe this along the edge of your liner, extending it upwards towards your brow bone to clean up the edges and create a sharp yet smoky cat-eye.
STEP 7: ADDING DEFINITION
Now that you've got your smoky siren wing, you'll want to add some definition to the inner corners of the eyes to take it to the next level.
Go back in with our Perversion Waterproof Eye Pen and line the inner corners by creating a small 'V' Shape. In combination with the winged liner, this further enhances your natural eye shape and adds to the feline effect we're trying to achieve.
STEP 8: BRING THE LOOK TOGETHER
Step 8: To bring the look together, adding a black eyeliner pencil is essential. Our 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil in Legend is specifically designed to be used on the inner waterline of the eye for creamy, long-lasting colour. Start by gently lifting your lid to reveal your upper waterline and applying the eye pencil along here; this method is known as tight-lining and helps to fill in the gaps between the roots of the lashes for a fuller, thicker looking lash line.
STEP 9: ELONGATE THE CAT-EYE SHAPE
Using the same eye pencil, apply this also along the lower waterline of your eye. Applying black to the waterline is perfect for this siren eye makeup look as it adds extra darkness to the smoky eye and helps to enhance the elongated cat-eye shape.
